No, Unigox does not interact with banks or bank officers. The user alone gives permission to securely share specificdetails from their banking session, such as their name, email, and recent transactions. This allows us to verify their fiat transfer without direct interaction with the bank.
How can a user be sure their data is private when transferring fiat, especially if they don’t understand ZK-TLS technology?
We ensure full privacy by letting the user control what information is shared:
✅ A pop-up clearly shows what details will be shared with Unigox before the user approves it. ✅ Your full banking details remain private; we only receive information that user explicitly decides to share on a one-time basis.
Think of it as a permission-based system—you decide what Unigox can see, and we never access anything beyond tha
What do the name badges mean when trading?
When trading P2P, you'll see seller names with different verification indicators:
No badge — Name entered freely by the seller, not verified against ID
Green checkmark (✓) — Legal name verified through KYC
Two names displayed — Seller is KYC-verified but uses a different payment name
If two names appear: send funds to the payment name, and reference the KYC name for verification.
Remember: KYC is optional for trades under $100, but verified names give you extra confidence.
