# FAQ

**How do I get started?**

Create a wallet (or connect an existing one), complete KYC if trading over $100, add your payment method, and start trading. Unigox auto-matches your order with the best available rate.

**How does offer matching work?**

Unigox aggregates rates from P2P vendors, licensed exchanges, and payment providers. The matching engine selects the best available rate based on your amount, currency, and payment method. [Learn more →](https://guide.unigox.com/how-it-works/how-offer-matching-works)

**How is my fiat payment verified?**

Most orders are matched with integrated liquidity providers that detect and confirm your fiat payment automatically — crypto is released within minutes, no screenshots needed. For peer-to-peer trades, you upload proof of payment and the counterparty confirms receipt. Crypto stays locked in on-chain escrow until payment is confirmed either way. **What payment methods are supported?**

Bank transfers, mobile wallets, and more — depending on your country. Payment methods are matched by network (e.g., SEPA, PIX, NIBSS), so you don't need to find someone using the same bank.

**What are the fees?**

0.5% escrow fee per trade, paid by the crypto seller. Wallet usage, offer creation, and transfers between Unigox users are free. [Read more →](https://guide.unigox.com/user-guides/fees)

**Is my money safe?**

Crypto is held in an on-chain escrow smart contract until payment is confirmed — neither party can run away with it, and Unigox never takes custody of your wallet. Vendors and liquidity providers are KYC/KYB-verified and compliance-screened.

**What do the name badges mean when trading?**

* **No badge** — Name entered freely by the seller, not verified against ID
* **Green checkmark (✓)** — Legal name verified through KYC
* **Two names displayed** — Seller is KYC-verified but uses a different payment name

If two names appear: send funds to the payment name, and reference the KYC name for verification. KYC is optional for trades under $100, but verified names give you extra confidence.

**How do I become a vendor?**

Create an account, fill out the [vendor application form](https://forms.gle/6CkHvBzE6A6Dju7H7), complete KYC or KYB, and start creating offers. [Read more →](https://guide.unigox.com/user-guides/trade-as-vendor)

**How can my business integrate Unigox?**

Use a deep link, an embeddable iframe widget, or the server-to-server REST API — see the [Integration Guide](https://guide.unigox.com/integration-guide/introduction) and [developers.unigox.com](https://developers.unigox.com). Virtual and named fiat accounts (EUR IBAN, GBP, USD) are coming soon.
